How ReportCFD handles account data, uploaded CFD materials, and generated outputs
Jun 11, 2026

Overview

ReportCFD helps engineers turn CFD post-processing results into presentation-ready interpretation, speaker notes, and review checks.

This policy explains what data we collect, what ReportCFD does not store by default, and how uploaded CFD materials are handled.

What We Collect

Account information

If you sign in, we may collect your name, email address, avatar, authentication provider, and account status. We use this information to manage your account, authentication, credits, and support requests.

Usage and credit metadata

To provide beta credits, prevent abuse, and understand product usage, we may store minimal usage metadata such as:

  • user ID or anonymous visitor ID
  • generation status
  • generated-at time
  • selected result type and analysis purpose options
  • file MIME type and file size
  • hashed IP address and hashed user-agent
  • credit usage and model cost metadata

We do not need this metadata to include your uploaded file name, uploaded material, base64 file data, full generated report, or sensitive text you typed in an "Other" field.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication, session management, language preference, and anonymous free-generation limits. For example, an anonymous visitor cookie may be used to allow one no-signup generation and reduce abuse.

Uploaded CFD Materials

ReportCFD does not store your uploaded CFD materials or generated report results in our database or object storage by default.

Your uploaded material is processed for the current generation request only. The upload area currently accepts image materials first; that material is sent to our AI provider to generate the response, then the result is returned to your browser.

Signing in does not mean your uploaded materials are saved. Logged-in users receive credits and account features, but the current version still does not create cloud report history or store uploaded materials by default.

AI Providers

ReportCFD uses third-party AI providers to generate interpretations. Your uploaded material and context fields may be sent to the AI provider solely to produce the requested response.

Do not upload materials that your company, client, or project policies prohibit you from sharing with third-party AI services.

Data We Do Not Use

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your uploaded CFD materials or generated report text to train our own models.

We do not claim that third-party AI providers have zero data retention unless their published policies and configuration explicitly support that guarantee.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account and usage data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for deciding whether a given CFD result can be uploaded under your internal confidentiality rules.

Future Workspace Features

Future versions may offer optional cloud history, report storage, team workspaces, or exports. If those features are added, saving uploaded materials or generated reports will be presented as an explicit product feature, not as an invisible default.

Your Choices

You can use the first generation without signing in. You can also sign in to receive beta credits and future product updates.

If you do not want ReportCFD to process a CFD result through an AI provider, do not upload that file.

Changes

We may update this policy as ReportCFD evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page.
